Precision Oncology - Development of Specialist Skills for the Management and Annotation of Clinical and Molecular Oncology Data, with Particular Focus on Thoracic Malignancies

The project will develop specialist skills in the management and annotation of clinical and molecular oncology data, with particular focus on thoracic malignancies. The biologist will contribute to an integrated database compliant with FAIR principles and the GDPR, NGS data analysis, and functional annotation of molecular alterations using public databases and international standards. Molecular profiles will be integrated with clinical data and outcomes through multivariable regression, survival analysis, and clustering to identify and validate diagnostic, prognostic, and predictive biomarkers and clinical-biological stratification models. Work with Pathology and Thoracic Surgery will generate workflows transferable to clinical practice and results for dissemination through publications and conferences
