The research project falls within the topics of innovation for the sustainability of agricultural production, with particular reference to plant protection in Mediterranean tree crops (e.g., citrus and olive). The objective is to develop and integrate advanced knowledge and technologies aimed at reducing the use of plant protection products, through precision agriculture approaches.The expected results concern the development of solutions and guidelines for a more efficient and targeted distribution of inputs, with direct impacts on the environmental, economic, and social sustainability of agricultural enterprises.The integration of experimental activities, technological development, and knowledge transfer will foster the advancement and valorization of scientific understanding, including through international scientific publications and dissemination initiatives
