Fire Risk Mitigation of Reinforced Concrete Structures Strengthened with Fibre-Reinforced Composites

Development and validation of experimental and numerical methodologies for assessing the fire behaviour of reinforced concrete structures strengthened with fibre-reinforced composite materials. The activity will include the collection and systematisation of experimental data aimed at defining performance reduction factors as a function of thermal exposure, the execution and analysis of fire resistance tests on strengthened structural elements, and the development of thermo-mechanical numerical models. The objective is to define predictive tools and assessment criteria for design, fire safety verification, and the evaluation of the residual capacity and resilience of existing structures and infrastructure.
