Description
The research will focus on the study of the introduction of common law models in China during the early stages of modernisation and the extent to which these models were expressed and developed. The investigation will then examine the impact of common law on the various formants of law throughout the course of modernising reforms in China, following the different phases that have marked this process, from the colonial and semi-colonial experience to the more recent phase of globalisation and China’s integration into the international cooperation circuit.
