Ref. 351 - Innovative coding and signal-processing techniques for next-generation AI-driven wireless networks
Scientific-Disciplinary Group
09/IINF-03 - Telecommunications
Description
The scientific activity will focus on the design and performance analysis of advanced communication systems for future wireless networks, with particular emphasis on integrating AI-driven coding and signal-processing techniques. The research will include the development of next-generation multichannel transmission systems and error-correction coding schemes, based on graphical models and probabilistic structures, capable of dynamically adapting to channel conditions and different interference scenarios. Machine learning algorithms will be designed to optimize decoding processes, noise mitigation, and both spectral and communication reliability. In parallel, methods for protecting classical and quantum information will be investigated through advanced coding and noise-reduction techniques, with applications in secure communication and future 6G and beyond systems.
