Ref. 408 - From the body donated to science to biomolecular research on the microenvironment in rare neuro-oncological, neurodegenerative diseases and the gut-brain axis.
Scientific-Disciplinary Group
05/BIOS-12 - Human Anatomy
Description
The candidate will be involved in advanced biomedical research in cell and tissue biology, with a particular focus on the molecular mechanisms of physiological and pathological processes in organs. Skills in anatomical dissection will be used to manage and enhance the value of bodies donated to science, which are essential for medical research and training. Cellular and molecular analysis of the microenvironment will be applied to neuro-oncological, neurodegenerative and gut-brain axis pathologies, focusing on rare diseases. The candidate will also contribute to teaching activities in the BIOS-12/A scientific disciplinary group, including through technological and innovative methods.
