Description
The research project falls within the scope of semiotic analysis of visual texts and will focus on the semiotic analysis of the design dimension,whether artistic,design-related,or architectural,with particular reference to the role of corporeality and spatiality and the values that the latter assumes in the project and its outcomes.The research will be dedicated to exploring the modes of meaning production inherent in the processes,practices and outcomes of the project and its perspective will be that of the semiotic analysis of texts. Possible areas of investigation include artistic works and practices,exhibition spaces,design,architecture,the performing arts and visual culture.The main areas of research that may be relevant to the project within the SSD include: corporeality;communication and the enunciative dimension;the ethical-political dimension; and the semiotic components of artistic texts
