Description
The scientific-disciplinary sector includes scientific and educational research activities related to the characteristics, constitutive processes, and sustainable economic functionality of businesses of all types, including family-owned businesses, and of administrations in various economic sectors—profit and non-profit, private and public—their subsystems (activities and processes) and their suprasystems (business combinations). The research approach is systemic and, where appropriate, multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary. The goal is explanatory, but also aimed at developing tools and recommendations useful to the scientific community, businesses, professions, public administration, and the community, also developed according to logical-speculative processes. Research approaches are deductive and inductive; investigation methodologies are qualitative and quantitative and in any case consistent with the objectives of the discipline
