Description
The scientific commitment consists of conducting research in the scientific disciplinary sector covered by the procedure, with particular attention to:• the critical, historical, and constructional study of architectural artifacts in the modern and contemporary era;• the history of construction and engineering, with particular attention to the analysis of construction techniques and static-structural mechanisms;• the study of the relationships between built heritage, urban and landscape contexts, socio-political, and legislative structures in the modern and contemporary era;• the comparison with national and international research.The research activity includes documentary, critical, historical, comparative, and integrative approaches with related disciplines (history of engineering, history of construction techniques, architectural design, urban history).
