Description
The project aims to develop applied research activities in the field of veterinary surgical clinics, aimed at providing specialized support to ruminant and equine livestock farms in the Marche region. The inclusion of a dedicated researcher will allow for the integration of clinical-surgical assistance, systematic data collection, outcome analysis, training of operators, and transfer of evidence-based protocols. This activity will focus on the main surgical problems of livestock and equine animals, with particular attention to early diagnosis, emergency management, appropriateness of referrals, standardization of pre- and post-operative pathways, reduction of complications, and improvement of animal welfare and the economic sustainability of the farm. The desired candidate must have solid training in veterinary surgical clinics and proven skills in the surgical care of large animals.
