Description
The research project focuses on the cognitive and neurophysiological mechanisms of sleep and sleep disorders. It aims to investigate how sleep quality and duration affect cognitive, emotional, and attentional processes, identifying their neural correlates through EEG and neuropsychological testing. The study will also examine cognitive alterations associated with sleep disorders, such as insomnia, narcolepsy, and sleep-related breathing disorders. Findings are expected to advance the understanding of neurocognitive processes underlying sleep regulation and contribute to the development of targeted clinical and rehabilitative interventions.
