Research activity in the field of pancreatic diseases aimed at optimizing and standardizing diagnosis and treatment. This is expected to have a positive impact on the early diagnosis and management of pancreatic diseases, resulting in reduced morbidity and mortality, as well as lower healthcare and social costs.Teaching activities are also planned within the academic discipline of Gastroenterology in the Master’s Degree Program in Medicine and Surgery, as well as in all degree programs and specialization schools at the University of Bologna, particularly at the campus in the Romagna area.
