Description
The research activities will focus on the psychodynamic and psychogenetic analysis of the self, intrapsychic processes, and relationships within healthcare settings, with applications to the understanding and treatment of psychological distress. Emphasis will be placed on integrating clinical practice with scientific evidence, using validated assessment tools and evidence-based interventions. Particular attention will be given to psychosomatic conditions, Eating and Feeding Disorders, and obesity, within an integrated model. These activities will aim to develop and evaluate assessment, prevention, and psychological treatment interventions grounded in evidence-based models, in order to improve the effectiveness and appropriateness of care
