Description
The RTT will carry out its research with the aim of reconstructing and analysing, from a theoretical and critical point of view, the multifaceted relationships between museology and the public in connection with the complex challenges that have developed in the museum world between the 19th and 21st centuries, with particular reference to the enhancement and protection of cultural heritage linked to the applied arts and creative industries. The research activity, based on a solid knowledge of international museology and an interdisciplinary approach, will address the theme of the relationships between material culture and permanent and temporary exhibitions, examining interpretative models, social contexts and connections with territories, within the broader theme of Cultural Heritage, with the aim of deepening reflection on the role and strategies for the use of exhibition spaces in history and in the contemporary world
