Description
The SHAPE LINK-ACHD-1 study investigates the safety and effectiveness of Heart Failure Guideline-Directed Medical Therapy (HF-GDMT) in Adults with Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) and heart failure, focusing on two high-risk subgroups: Fontan Circulatory Failure (FCF) and systemic right ventricular failure (sRV). This prospective multicenter study enrolls consecutive patients from major Italian ACHD centers, evaluating them at three timepoints (enrollment, 9 and 18 months). Primary endpoints include HF-GDMT safety and efficacy assessed via cardiopulmonary exercise testing and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging.
