Description
The research activity is aimed at the design, development and intensification of innovative and sustainable processes for the production of synthetic fuels and the transport of low-carbon energy carriers, with the aim of fostering their large-scale implementation to support the decarbonization of the energy sector. Specifically, the activities are part of Process Design and Process Intensification and are oriented towards the development of e-fuels, biofuels and energy vectors through advanced approaches to modeling, simulation and optimization of reacting and non-reacting systems. Therefore, candidates are required to have solid scientific skills in the field of unit operations, adequate experience in process modeling, also through the use of commercial simulators, as well as skills in the techno-economic analysis of processes
