Research activities in the field of archaeological research methodologies and techniques, with a specific focus on the theoretical reflection of material culture in relation to textual, architectural, and urban evidence within the ancient Mediterranean. Research activities will focus on developing innovative methodologies for the acquisition, classification, interpretation, and communication of data from ancient and post-ancient archaeological contexts in the Eastern Mediterranean. In this context, material culture will be used as an indicator of short, medium, and long-range contacts through experimental archaeology procedures. Is required to develop methodologies that utilize innovative digital tools and are also applicable in the field under complex environmental and logistical conditions. Teaching activities will consist of delivering courses for the academic field (SSD) ARCH-01/G.
