Electromagnetic compatibility in power electronic equipment and systems: experimental characterization, modeling, and disturbance mitigation techniques 2026_RTT_DEIB_3

The research activity will focus on the analysis, experimental characterization, and modeling of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) phenomena in power electronic equipment and systems. In particular, it will address the development of experimental methodologies for the characterization of conducted electromagnetic disturbances in the radio-frequency range. Numerical, analytical, and distributed-parameter circuit models will also be developed for the study of disturbance generation and propagation in wiring and interconnection systems. The activity will include the definition and validation of electromagnetic interference mitigation techniques, including filtering methodologies, as well as the development of innovative tools for EMC-oriented design.
