05/BIOS-13 - Human Histology And Embryology
Description
The field of histology focuses on scientific and educational activities in the study of human tissues in their dynamic nature, starting from a morphological-functional approach to understand the processes that determine and control the origin, differentiation, and homeostasis of human tissues. This mutual integration creates a foundation of knowledge, essential to medical training, for understanding the changes or alterations that affect human cells and tissues in physiopathological conditions. Histology employs a dynamic approach, starting from morphological elements to follow the behavior of tissue cells in space and time, contributing to the understanding of cell functions within the context of their tissue microenvironment and enabling the identification of the mechanisms underlying the maintenance of normal tissue structure in adults
