MEDS-02/A EXPERIMENTAL MEDICINE AND PATHOPHYSIOLOGY

The candidate will have to carry out frontal and integrative teaching activities in the scientific-disciplinary field MEDS-02/A in the courses of the Faculty of Medicine, both in the Rome campus as well as in courses offered at other campuses. The candidate will be also requested to perform the above functions in Schools of specialization, PhD programs, masters and post-doctorate courses. The candidate will have to exert his/her scientific activity in the fields consistent with the SSD MEDS-02/A Experimental medicine and pathophysiology, with a specific focus on experimental, translational and basic research in the field of the molecular medicine with a particular attention to the areas of oncology. The research should focus on the study of the molecular and cellular mechanisms involved in tumor pathogenesis, the cellular interactions within tumor microenvironment and the identification of biomarkers and potential innovative therapeutic targets.
