MEDS-05/A INTERNAL MEDICINE

The candidate will teach the academic discipline within the course of degree in Medicine and Surgery in Italian and in English languages and within various courses and schools of specialization. The candidate will be expected to carry out scientific research activities consistent with the field, with a specific focus on diseases of the digestive system, both neoplastic and non-neoplastic, with particular emphasis on the management and treatment of chronic inflammatory bowel diseases, multidisciplinary management, and the integration of knowledge including translational and personalized medicine, clinical practice, therapeutic innovation, and diagnostic advances. The candidate will also be expected to perform clinical care duties at UOC di Medicina Interna e Gastroenterologia and Centro di Malattie dell’Apparato digerente of the Fondazione Policlinico Gemelli IRCCS, where it will be required to carry out the coordination of the management of such diseases.
