MEDS-08/C FOOD AND DIETETIC SCIENCES

The successful candidate will be required to undertake teaching and tutorial duties within the single-cycle Master’s degree programme in Medicine and Surgery and Pharmacy, as well as within undergraduate degree programmes and postgraduate specialisation schools, focusing on the fields of food science and applied dietary techniques. The candidate will be required to carry out scientific work consistent with the scientific-disciplinary sector MEDS-08/C, with a specific focus on the topics of meta-inflammation and metabolic, gastrointestinal and protein-calorie malnutrition disorders, with particular reference to cancer patients and nutrition in hospitalised patients. The candidate will be required to carry out clinical duties at the Clinical Nutrition Unit of the Agostino Gemelli University Polyclinic Foundation – IRCCS, where he/she will be required to perform clinical activities (specialist outpatient consultations and ward consultations).
