MEDS-11/A PSYCHIATRY

The candidate will be required to teach in the Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery, in Medicine and Surgery programs, in healthcare profession and specialization schools, and to develop research lines, in the ssd MEDS-11/A, with particular reference to the diagnosis, treatment and pharmacotherapy of mood disorders across the lifespan and treatment-resistant depression, and to the clinical and neurobiological correlates of primary mood disorders and those associated with medical diseases such as the oncological ones. The candidate will hold a clinical role in the Psychiatry Unit of the Policlinico A. Gemelli, with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with severe psychiatric disorders, particularly mood disorders, in both outpatient and inpatient settings, and in consultation activities with particular focus on the assessment and management of psychopathological alterations in patients with medical diseases such as the oncological ones.
