MEDS-12/A NEUROLOGY

The candidate will be required to teach in the scientific-disciplinary field MEDS/12A Neurology. The candidate must demonstrate research experience in inflammatory, demyelinating, and autoimmune diseases of the central nervous system, such as multiple sclerosis, and of the skeletal muscle. The candidate must develop research lines on inflammatory CNS and muscular disorders, aimed at defining the mechanisms and biological correlates of the diseases and treatment responses through the combined use of biomarkers and longitudinal clinical data. Specific expertise in clinical trials will be required. The candidate will be required to perform clinical and patient care activities at the Neurology Unit (UOC) involving patients with inflammatory and autoimmune diseases of the CNS and of the skeletal muscle.
