The scientific commitment involves conducting research within the relevant academic discipline, with a particular focus on anatomical resections for lung cancer following targeted therapy and immunotherapy, ranging from traditional and genetic prognostic factors in lung cancer to new frontiers in the treatment of malignant pleural mesothelioma. Research activities also include the study and optimization of clinical follow-up for patients who have undergone surgery for lung cancer, aimed at improving medium- and long-term outcomes.
