Interior and temporary exhibit design in emergency and fragile contexts.

The research activity will consist in investigating the role that interior architecture and temporary installations play in emergency and fragile contexts. This will involve analyzing potential reference contexts with the aim of defining their specificities, experimenting with innovative design methodologies tailored to the particular contextual conditions, and applying these methodologies to illustrative case studies, identified based on a significant sample. In particular, the research will address the design of architectural spaces in relation to human needs (primary and secondary), with application to both residential and social functions, and paying particular attention to hygiene and sanitation requirements.
