The scientific commitment consists of conductingresearch activities in the scientific disciplinary sector subject of the procedure, with particular attention to the study of the mechanisms underlying the persistence and pathogenicity of viruses, especially hepatitis viruses.The research activity will include the study ofmolecular biology applied to virology, includingsecond- and third-generation sequencing techniques, nucleic acid quantification methods such as real-time PCR and digital PCR, as well as the quantification of viral antigens using immunoenzyme assays.
