Public selection procedure for the award of a research contract for a duration of two years at the Department of Asian and North African Studies, academic recruitment field 10/STAA01, academic discipline STAA-01/L (Arabic Language and Literature), for the needs of project "Arabic Linguistic Discourse in the Making – ALiDiM”.The selected candidate will contribute to the research on language data across texts and the formation of linguistic discourse, with particular emphasis on the role of early Arabic scholars and grammarians in shaping the conceptual and normative framework of Classical Arabic. This includes analyzing how linguistic examples were selected, interpreted, and argued with, and how these practices influenced the consolidation of grammatical rules, metalinguistic categories, and shared standards of correctness.
