Title of the project: “Development of methods in pyrolsis for the analysis of polymers and nano/microplastics” - the overall objective of the project consists of the molecular characterization of the thermal degradation products of polymers, biopolymers, plastics and bioplastics using thermochemical methodologies combined with gas chromatography and/or mass spectrometry (Py-GC-MS, EGA-MS, etc.), either non-reactive or in the presence of suitable derivatization reagents. The outcomes will be used with the specific objective of developing and validating procedures for the analysis of nano/microplastics in complex samples of environmental interest...Omissis.
