Description
The research program involves studying the different methods of modeling large-scale energy storage systems, simulating their interaction with the power grid and the electricity market. The focus of the study is both the methods for characterizing the performance of the energy storage system (understood as a whole, considering the cells, the BMS, the PCS, and the auxiliary systems), as well as their modeling in mathematical optimization tools and, finally, in dynamic simulation tools for their interaction with the power grid.
