Description
The project aims to demonstrate, in an operational andindustrially relevant environment, an integrated system forcoastal monitoring and protection based on the use of advancedtechnologies in the fields of autonomous vehicles andelectrochemical artificial reefs. The main innovation lies in thedevelopment of a cooperative autonomous system composed ofsurface and underwater marine vehicles capable ofcommunicating, coordinating, and collaborating in themonitoring and maintenance of artificial reefs and, morebroadly, of the marine ecosystem.
