Description
The successful candidate will contribute to computational science research within the BioCore project, funded by the Tech Europe Foundation. The role involves developing and applying advanced computational modelling approaches, including machine learning, deep learning, multi-agent models, gene regulatory networks, and large language models. Responsibilities include implementing robust, reproducible software and sharing code in line with open science principles, as well as applying methods to real biological data from in-house and partner institutions. The position includes publishing results in peer-reviewed journals, presenting at conferences, collaborating with international partners (University of Oxford and IFOM Milan), and contributing to the supervision and mentoring of junior researchers and students.
