Description
The agricultural sector urgently requires innovative protection strategies, especially in response to recent EU directives that are willing to restrict on the dosage of chemical plant protection products soon. The STAR project addresses this need by developing agrodrug-conjugates to enhance the efficacy and bioavailability of these products.The researcher will be responsible for:- Chemical Design and Synthesis: Executing the scale-up and synthesis of the new constructs, including purification and structural characterization.- Collaboration Management: Direct supervision of the biological evaluation conducted in partnership with Bayer AG, Crop Science Division, and providing support in the more industrial phases.Scientific Support: Operational laboratory management, student tutoring, drafting scientific publications, and eventual teaching support.
