Description

The activities will include periodic sampling of Lake Maggiore waters, both from the shoreline and by boat; processing of water samples for biomolecular and microbiological/cytometric analyses; and subsequent analyses using quantitative PCR (qPCR), flow cytometry, epifluorescence microscopy, and metagenomic analyses of microbial communities or single species, when required.Proven experience is required in data validation, as well as in the statistical and bioinformatic analysis of microbial communities, including both community composition and gene-specific characterization.Independence is required in the management of analytical activities, preparation of project reports, and publication of results in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
