Description
The researcher will be involved in the design and development of antennas and metasurfaces operating in the microwave band and in the sub-THz/THz region. The activities will focus on the development of devices for beam steering, frequency-selective functionalities, and the control of reflection and absorption, with applications in smart environments and in terrestrial and nonterrestrial communication networks (NTN), as well as on the design of wearable antennas for biomedical and monitoring applications.Solutions based on innovative flexible, biocompatible, and twodimensional materials, such as graphene, will be investigated for the development of transparent and reconfigurable devices.
