03/CHEM-02 - Physical Chemistry

Description

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in the rheology of complex systems, as well as in NMR and Rheo-NMR spectroscopy, and in physicochemical techniques for the characterization of colloidal systems. Prior laboratory experience in developing and analyzing formulations for applications in the petrochemical sector is also required. The candidate must be knowledgeable about the biogelation processes of model oil systems and be able to apply this expertise to the development of oil- and bio-lubricant-based systems, optimizing key lubricant properties such as density, viscosity, and stability. Additionally, they will be responsible for the chemical and physicochemical characterization of selected commercially available vegetable oils, which will serve as the basis for proposing strategies to enhance the biodegradability of the lubricants marketed by the project leader.
