Title of the project: “GENESIS: Searching for the primordial structures of the Universe in the heart of the Galaxy” - Galaxy bulges may form through mergers of massive clumps of gas and stars, and then experience accretion events. Thus, they are expected to host a variety of relics: the remnants of the massive clumps that contributed to the bulge formation, in-situ formed and externally accreted globular clusters (GCs), and nuclear star clusters of cannibalized galaxies.
