Title of the project: “A numerical survey of the magnetisation of the cosmic web by feedback mechanisms” - This project wants to asses how much can baryonic feedback (i.e. from star formation and active galactic nuclei) contaminate the measurements of primordial magnetic fields in cosmic voids and filaments. The candidate will reduce model uncertainties by producing new large cosmological simulations of the magnetic outputs from galaxies in the ENZO code, which will test realistic implementations of baryonic feedback from the literature.
