Description
The project is interdisciplinary (neuroscience + biomaterials + sensor technology + animal models), therefore the winner will have to carry out activities in at least three key areas: in vivo experimentation, Alzheimer's (AD) biomarkers, and bioanalytical detection technologies. The winner will have to manage animal models, preferably transgenic Alzheimer's models such as the TgF344-AD; perform surgical procedures on laboratory animals, monitor animal welfare, and apply ethical regulations and authorizations for animal experimentation; perform blood sampling to monitor the main peripheral AD biomarkers (ELISA, immunoassay, possibly ultrasensitive techniques), and manage biological samples. They will also have to perform statistical analysis of preclinical data.
