Description

The program analyzes the evolution of the FinTech, Insurtech and Open Finance ecosystem, with attention to the dynamics between startups, incumbent operators, and emerging platform-based market architectures. The objective is to examine how emerging models such as aaS, embedded finance, modular infrastructures are reshaping the financial services value chain. In particular, the project will focus on: the structure and evolution of fintech ecosystems, including the analysis of relationships among startups, incumbents, and big tech firms; platform-based and BaaS business models, with an assessment of their economic sustainability and performance metrics; collaborative strategies (partnerships, open innovation, VC models, and M&A) between traditional operators and new entrants; the organizational and technological impacts on financial intermediariries, including those related to climate change; the evolution of the end users
