Description
The research programme will consist in the characterization of the residual and hot hermo-mechanical performance of concretes exposed to thermal cycles (150-400°C). Different mix designs will be considered, including e.g. the use of supplementary cementitious materials, type and dosage of aggregates as well as the presence of constituents aimed at guaranteeing high performance (fibres, pozzolanic additions). Digital Image Correlations of displacement and strain field in the tested samples has to be foreseen.
