Description
Development and validation of model-updating methodologies for damage identification (localization and quantification), based on the analysis of the dynamic properties of reinforced concrete structural elements. The activity will also include the analysis of experimental data obtained from dynamic tests on concrete beams, aimed at extracting modal parameters (natural frequencies, mode shapes, damping) and defining damage indicators. The resulting information will be used to calibrate and validate updateable data-driven models of the structural element, to be employed for diagnostic purposes and predictive assessments under different loading scenarios.
