Description

Development of methodologies and technologies for the in situ exploration and characterization of lunar resources, with a particular focus on water, rare earth elements, rare metals, and platinum group elements (such as nickel, platinum, palladium, iridium, and gold). The instrumentation to be designed must take into account the need to be integrated aboard rovers/landers, including small-sized ones, in order to potentially take advantage of flight opportunities offered by various commercial operators currently active on the international market (e.g., Commercial Lunar Payload Service).

Evaluation CV 1.Italian or foreign candidates who, as of the application deadline, meet the following requirements may participate in the selection process:a. A Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering,Industrial Engineering, Physics,Mathematics,or a degree obtained abroad, Pursuant to Article 38, paragraph 3,of Legislative Decree 165/2001,candidates holding a degree obtained abroad are admitted to the selection process on a provisional basis; If successful in the selection process, successful candidates are required to submit an application for recognition (equivalence) of their foreign degree to the Ministry of University and Research within 15 days of the publication of the final ranking,under penalty of exclusion from the selection process. Successful candidates in possession of a declaration of equivalence issued by an Italian university must submit it to the Institution within 15 days of the publication of the final ranking, under penalty of exclusion from the selection process. 2.Candidates may also apply if they: a.are enrolled in the third year of the program leading to the aforementioned Ph.D. provided that they are expected to complete the program within six months of the date of publication of this call for applications;or: b.possess a scientific and professional background suitable for conducting research,provided that the qualifications referred to in paragraph 1 of this article constitute a preference for the purposes of establishing the relevant ranking.b.enjoyment of civil and political rights;for candidates who are not Italian citizens and do not hold refugee status or subsidiary protection status, the enjoyment of civil and political rights refers to the country of citizenship; c.not to have been convicted of any criminal offenses,for which a final judgment has been rendered,that entail disqualification from public office;not to have been dismissed or removed from employment with a public administration due to persistent and unsatisfactory performance;and not to have been disqualified from other government employment for having obtained employment by submitting false documents or documents marred by an irremediable defect, as well as not having been disqualified from public office based on a final judgment,nor having been dismissed for disciplinary reasons in accordance with the national collective bargaining agreements established for the public administration sectors;d.to have complied with the laws on military service (for male candidates of Italian nationality born in or after 1985);e.knowledge of the English language;f.knowledge of the Italian language for candidates of non-Italian nationality.
