Description

The research focuses on the analysis of dental calculus from archaeological contexts in order to reconstruct health conditions, paleopathological evidence, and therapeutic practices from a diachronic perspective. Through microscopic methodologies and contextual analysis, the study aims to identify traces of infections, parasitological dynamics, and possible indicators of therapeutic interventions, contributing to a deeper understanding of the relationships between health, environment, and cultural practices over the long term
