Description
The research program is dedicated to the development and characterization of a newly acquired experimental station called TIME at the 4D Spectroscopy Lab in Trieste, prior to its definitive installation at the new Elettra2.0 synchrotron. The TIME station is based on a "Momentum Microscope" electron analyzer and will be used to conduct photoemission spectroscopy experiments with high energy, angular, spatial, and temporal resolution using conventional light sources, lasers, and synchrotron radiation. Two-dimensional systems and topological materials will be studied as a priority to optimize the operating parameters of the new instrumentation.
