09/IEGE-01 - Business And Management Engineering
Description
The program analyzes the digital transformation of contemporary organizations and its impact on critical stakeholders (e.g., vulnerable stakeholders), both internal and external, through the theoretical lenses of business ethics and, specifically, the humanistic management paradigm. The objective is to understand how ethical management strategies can inform the alignment of business and ethical goals in the design, adoption, and use of new digital technologies (with a particular focus on AI). It aims to steer these technologies beyond mere regulatory compliance toward an ethical risk management strategy rooted in integral human development.Specifically, the project investigates how ethical decision-making and responsible innovation can redefine value creation. It identifies the organizational preconditions (processes, governance structures, roles, and competencies) necessary to prevent and mitigate ethical risks.
