Description
The project is part of the scientific support to the ESA EnVision mission, dedicated to the exploration of Venus, and in particular to the assessment of the radar capability to detect electromagnetic signatures associated with possible atmospheric lightning events. The research activity focuses on theoretical and numerical modeling of the generation, propagation, and ionospheric interaction of electromagnetic waves in the Venusian atmosphere.
