Description
The research project aims toidentify and analyse the linguistic, terminological, and historical-cultural characteristicsof the French fashion domain as a multifaceted, interdisciplinary and transdisciplinaryfield in the period from 1880 to 1900. The project will carry out an integrated mappingof relevant textual, audiovisual and media sources to achieve a diachronic reconstructionof the definitions, lexicalisation processes and semantic transformations of fashionlexicon. This will include modelling underlying conceptual networks.
