Neuroempowerment can be definedas a voluntary attempt to improve one’s own cognitive-affective skills and behaviouralperformance by means of neuroscience techniques able to influence the activity of neuralstructures and neural networks supporting those skills and performance. Building on thisframework, the project aims to advance neurocognitive models and evidence-basedneuroempowerment protocols across the lifespan, from young adulthood to older age.
