Description
Law No. 9 of 26 January 2026 introduced a new regulatory framework aimed at establishing a more effective public governance structure for underwater activities. From an organisational perspective, the Agency for the Safety of Underwater Activities has been established, with the task of monitoring, regulating and authorising underwater activities, as well as managing interference and the methods for protecting submarine cables.The research project, starting from a reconstruction of the transnational and supranational framework, aims to examine the administrative transformations affecting the organisational and functional structure, which are necessary to ensure national governance of the underwater domain that is suited to contemporary geopolitical and economic needs
